Happy Summer!

Happy Summer!  The kids just finished their last day of school and we are in full summer mode...meaning...I am losing my mind with a hundred and two random neighborhood kids passing through the house all day.  Every day.  Doors slamming (if they actually remember to close them).  Dirt tracks.  A million dirty juice cups.  Screaming...Lots and lots of screaming.  Dirty wet pool towels that have been used, drug through the dirt wet, and left to stink on bedroom floors.  Wadded up bathing suits on top of the dirty wet towel.  Wet footprints between the door and the bathroom.  "Can I have a snack?"  "What's for lunch?"  "What's for dinner?"  "What do you mean I have to brush my teeth I just brushed them two daaaaaaaaaays ago ugggggh!"  "I don't need to shower Mom, I went swimming!"  "Mango on a stick!  Mango on a stick!  Mom the mango guy's here!"  "Work?  You have to work?  But Mom it's suuuuuuuummmmmmer!"  "When can I have a sleepover?"  "But Trinitee's had like five and I've had none it's not faaaaiiiirrrr!"  "What?  Dad's stillllllll at work? Again?  He's always working!"  "He works more than you do mom!"  (My favorite...haha....like moms don't work when they are home.  Yes, I sit on the couch and eat bon-bons while the kids massage my feet and my back...simultaneously...while also receiving a manicure...RIGHT......)

Most of the time I am on the verge of the looney bin but then my lovely little monsters surprise me.  "Momz, I love you.  You are the best mom I wish we could stay here forever."  "What?  We have to go to our moms house now?  NOOOOoooooo! We wanna stay here with you and daddy!"  "Sopa for dinner?  I  LUV sopa!"  "Hey woman!  Where's my lunch?!"  Oh wait....that one was misplaced.  And yes, they call me woman...occasionally.  And then they realize that  calling me woman does not a happy momz make so they revert to rubbing my feet and back.  NOT.  I love my crazy life.  I have an amazing husband who works so so hard to support us.  I have three little ducklings who follow me in a little line wherever I go-especially if I'm headed to the pool.  I have three chickens and that means three all natural, organic eggs a day.  I have one tortoise who eats all the produce that passes it's prime without being eaten (See-we are green.  No waste around here!).  I have a bearded dragon who sits in his little cage and talks to me when I'm lonely-tells me how amazing I am and what not...And two bulldogs-one English, one French;  Both of which my husband hates but I love them to death!  And....two little monsters (the crazy kiddos) who make my life complete!

Welcome to a slice of our crazy life!  Enjoy!
